身生知未生，知生身已老

身怨知生遲，知怨身生早

身知不相逢，人生幾度老

身知若相逢，即可成佛道

Saint’s Words II

The body comes into being long before wisdom; Wisdom comes about when the body becomes old.

The body regrets that wisdom comes too late; Wisdom regrets that the body was born too soon.

Because body and wisdom do not coincide; The cycle of birth and death is continuous.

If body and wisdom coincide, Buddhahood is attainable here and now.
