We always think we know the life we live for |
1 | |
To make the most of all our pains and joys |
But know that each and every living creature |
Has a spirit, has a purpose, has a source |
We think the only people we should care for |
2 | |
Are those who think, and look like us |
But if we walk the footsteps of our seniors |
We’d learn things we never thought, we’d never know |
Have you heard your heart cry to an aching soul |
3 | |
Or find the strength and courage to be true? |
Can you sing with all the voices of the Heavens? |
Can you soothe with all the colors of your heart? |
Can you heal with all the virtues of your heart? |
Come bring the hidden treasures of the sages |
4 | |
Come taste the boundless warmth of real care |
Come bring out all the goodness that’s inside you |
And for once, really value what you’re worth |
The Christians and the Moslems are our brothers, |
5 | |
The Buddhists and all others more than friends |
For we are all connected to each other, to a life, in our Home that never ends |
How far can a caring heart go, if you don’t bring it out, then you’ll never know |
6 | |
Then you’ll never hear your heart cry to an aching soul, |
Or find the strength and courage to be true |
You need to sing with all the voices of the Heavens |
We need to soothe with all the colors of the heart, |
We have to heal with all the virtues of the heart |
